Whether you need to get your cat to the vet or you are driving your pet across country on a move, you are going to need to get a carrier that can keep your kitty safely contained while you are on the road.
But how do you know a cat carrier is safe? Here are some important considerations:
- To start with, your cat carrier needs to be the proper size. Measure your cat, and then choose a carrier that is roughly 1.5 times as long as your pet. That way, your pet will not feel cramped, but also will not slide around too much.
- Appropriate ventilation is necessary to keep the space inside the carrier cool and breathable.
